ANTH 1102: Introduction to Anthropology

This course is an introduction to anthropology’s four major subfields: biological anthropology, archeology, cultural anthropology, and linguistics.


Course Learning Outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of basic anthropological theories.
  2. Describe physical, cultural, and linguistic diversity among humans.
  3. Relate anthropological concepts to everyday life.
