Program Description

The Minor in Anthropology prepares students for graduate programs in Anthropology and work in professions and fields that require an understanding of the effects of culture on human behavior. This is becoming increasingly useful as the cultural diversity of our society and workplaces, and the international focus of businesses and research have created a demand for professionals with anthropological training.

Program Student Learning Outcomes

Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:

1. Explain core anthropological concepts.
2. Apply anthropological theories to analyze anthropological data or questions.
3. Evaluate anthropological research.

This program is a part of the Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences .

Enrollment Criteria

This program does not have specific enrollment criteria; however, students are expected to meet the requirements of Academic Policy 4.0 ACADEMIC STANDING, DISMISSAL, & REINSTATEMENT .

Graduation Criteria

Each student is expected to meet the requirements outlined in Academic Policy 5.0 PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS & GRADUATION .
